BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Germany, Frankfurt/Main on March 6, 2000.

After playing Oboe for 6 years, I started playing drums at the age of 14.

I started in a school band, played with the band Santa Jaws in 2016 and drummed the Germany tour of Psychovillage from Austria when I was 17.

In 2019, I started uploading drum covers on Instagram and later on YouTube.

Now I'm a full-time drummer and my biggest inspiration, as I'm sure you all know, is JOEY JORDISON and MEYTALL COHEN!

I am open to new projects and bands! If you are interested, please send an e-mail to: raja@wunderkidz.com

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

At first, my little brother wanted to learn drums but I, as a big sister, had to try it too... of course... hahaha and I took a liking to it right away. All of a sudden there was a drum set in my room :D Then I saw a video of Joey Jordison playing upside down...

... that was the moment I knew: I WANT TO PLAY DRUMS! Now he is my biggest inspiration and I will love him forever! (✝︎ 26.07.2021).

When I had already been playing for half a year, I joined a school band. There we tried to play the first songs. The first song I ever learned was "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. I used to listen to the songs and think: How do I play this? I hear it, so I can play it. That was clear to me. At that time I didn't even know that there were drum sheets, drum covers, or tutorials.

I started building a small reach on Instagram in 2019 with skateboarding videos. That gave me my first 10.000 subscribers. Then I uploaded the first drum cover - then another and then another. I noticed that it was getting bigger and bigger and then it took off. Then I quit my job and just played the drums. Every day.

I think the point behind it is mainly that the videos I upload on Instagram can only be a minute long. I've never seen that before, someone just covering a snippet of a song on Instagram - so a cover of just that one minute without posting the full cover on YouTube. Then I thought: I'll just do that, take a part of a song, cover it, and upload it. In the beginning, I received a lot of hate for this... but in the meantime, it has become quite normal to upload short videos for everyone.

My goal is to show the fun and power of playing drums. It's about getting goosebumps while playing and feeling the song.

I now live in Berlin and will continue my career here. Cool projects with cool artists are in the planning...

I'm just getting started, this is just the beginning and I hope you guys are as excited as I am!

Also, I'm very grateful for everything I have already experienced and everything I will still experience. As well as my strong community and the people I have met during this time, mean so much to me and I'm infinitely grateful! I also thank my family very much for always supporting me (and always letting me play the drums, lol) and my friends who have constantly supported me and stood behind me.

LOVE YOU!
